I was going to write about basic potato salad today because

I think it is un-American to have a cookout without potato salad.  

And my favorite potato salad recipe is from Martha Stewart.  

It uses Red Bliss potatoes and is really easy to make. 

I've made it and it's yummy!

Then I stumbled upon this majorly punched up version 

made with lobster and thought I had to include it in this post!

 This one is from Ina Gartner, aka The Barefoot Contessa. 

I love me some lobster AND potato salad!!

I may make the lobster potato salad for the 4th of July since we will 

probably be dining in doors thanks to Hurricane Arthur!!
