the michelada

Thank God it's Friday!
It looks like it's going to be a hot one here this weekend.
Thinking about a cold refreshing beverage for the hot weather.  I came across an article in a magazine recently proclaiming the Michelada,(pronounced mee-che-LAH-dah) the "new Margarita" for the summer.  It's basically a Bloody Mary with Mexican beer instead of Vodka.  When I started researching recipes I found many variations of this drink. I narrowed it down to two versions.
The first, is for a single serving and the second for a crowd.

Michelada
single

1 lime juiced
1- 12oz Mexican beer
1/2 tsp or dash of hot sauce
1/2 tsp or dash of Worcestershire, Maggi or soy sauce
3 oz of Clamato juice (optional if you don't like it)
Course salt for rimming the class
Ice

Rim a large pint glass with the salt. Place everything except the beer in the glass. Next pour the cold beer in the glass and mix. Next add the ice. Season to your liking and drink up!

Cheers!
